October Favourites

Hi Everyone!

Today I will be sharing my October Favourites with you! There are so many things I have been loving this month but I have whittled it down to my top few for you.

Wake Me Up Concealer Ivory
My makeup favourite has been the Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer. I have had way too many late nights this month and this has been my morning savior. I don't really know how to describe this product except that it does its job well! This has always been a staple in my makeup bag and I think it always will be due to it's reliability.

Moisturiser of the month goes to Simple Oil Balancing Moisturiser. I have discovered this moisturiser on the quest to reduce my oily skin. After only a couple of days, the oil had noticeably reduced. I have found it doesn't stop all the oiliness of my skin but it didn't cost much and has also reduced the amount of spots I get! Simple is a brand that is also good for people with sensitive skin and make sure their products won't make your skin break out so I recommend this to all of you, even those with sensitive skin.

Highslide JS
I have had my Tangle Teezer for a while now but I have loved it more than usual this month as my hair has been especially out of control! I own the Compact Styler in Pink. It is so much easier than a normal hair brush and it doesn't pull at your hair whilst trying to get out those mischievous knots. I bought this from Duty Free when going on holiday last year and I can honestly say it was a life saver after being in the pool all day and having the task of brushing your hair after long pool or beach days. I would recommend this 110%. There are various styles of the Tangle Teezer such as Aqua or even the Original, just choose depending on which suites you!

Next up is Soap and Glory - Rich and Foamous Shower Gel. I absolutely love this product! The mix of Almond, Oats and Brown Sugar lasts on your skin for hours and makes your skin feel soft and smooth. It comes in a massive bottle which I have found lasts ages! I don't know how to describe how much I love this product but I'm so glad I bought it.

My favourite store this month has been Lush. Lush has always been one of my favourite stores, however I hadn't been there in a while until the beginning of the month. Since then I have been in around 10 times this month! Addicted doesn't cover it! The various smells from the entrance of the shop just draw me in and the explosion of colour is just as inviting. The lack of animal testing is another positive for an animal lover like me and the variation of scents and products add to it! You can always be guaranteed a surprise when using one of the products and I find that they all smell delicious and complete a relaxing bath! Am I the only one who feels like that?

My music favourite this month has been Taylor Swift. I have loved going on Spotify and listening to all her old songs: Love Story, You Belong With Me, Mine, White Horse etc. They are a great way to relax and even good songs to listen to while doing homework. In fact I'm listening to them while writing this! I have always loved her older music and she never fails to disappoint.

My Owl Candle from Primark has been a favourite this month. It is a small grey hand painted owl with a sweet vanilla scent. I have had this candle for months now but have never brought myself to start burning it until now! It isn't a seasonal scent which is why I am taking my time to burn it. The scent isn't too strong but isn't that weak that you can't smell it that much; it's the perfect balance. I don't know what I'm going to do when it finishes! I love it too much to throw away! My slight obsession with owls is too strong.

I hope you've enjoyed my first favourites post!

Summer Outfit - OOTD

Hi Everyone!

Recently, I decided I would go into my garden and create an 'OOTD' post of one of my favourite summer outfits. It was a nice day where I live in the UK so I took this as the perfect opportunity to make this post.

It's super comfy and keeps you feeling cool in the summer heat which is why I love it so much! I hope you enjoy.

I love my kimono so much but it took me forever to find the right one for me. This particular one has a flowers and butterfly print with blue fringing at the bottom. It looks gorgeous and goes well with lots of my clothing.
Primark - £13

Underneath the kimono I am wearing a plain white vest top and a pair of dark denim high waisted shorts. I believe the vest top is from.
Peacocks - around £3

The shorts were from New Look's summer collection last year - around £15.
You can get similar shorts this year and there are a few pairs in Primark which are very similar.

Shoes are from Primark - £8.
They are a cushioned shoe with a lace pattern covering it and have a small bow on the front. I find this shoes comfortable after you've worn them a few times, however the first couple of times wearing them was quite uncomfortable but they're okay now.

My sunglasses are also from Primark's collection this year - £2.
They are a 5 sided shape and are fairly big (which I love). On the arms they have a dark brown leopard print and I love them so so so much!

Finally for my jewelry I have a pair of flower earrings from 'Claires' that I got quite a few years ago so I'm not sure about the price. They originally were black and white checked but the pattern has rubbed off over time.
My Celtic patterned ring is from a shop where I live called 'Pretty Twisted' but they have a website which sells most things they have in store. I'll put the link to the ring here and the link to the main website here as they have a lot of cute, amazing products to check out!
Ring - £3
On my left wrist I have a small silver bracelet with a small clear pink star which I got for Christmas one year but you cant't see on these pictures and a '5 Seconds of Summer' wrist band that I got at a concert - £3.
I will put the link here for the wrist band.

Unfortunately I couldn't find any links for the products but I hope the pictures helped!

Thank you for reading!
