Christmas Wish List 2014

It's almost Christmas!!! I need a moment. Christmas is most definitely my favourite time of year because it's a time for loving, sharing and appreciating those around you. I have been struggling so much to think of things to get this Christmas as I feel I don't need very much. However, there are a few bits and bobs which I would like very much so I decided I would make use of these items and share them with you!

Urban Decay - Naked Palette
I have wanted the Naked palette for probably a year now but I have bottled out of it each time because I hate to think I had spent that much on eye shadow when I didn't really wear it, but recently I have become more adventurous with make up so why not get it! There are so many amazing reviews about it and I'm sure all of you reading this will have heard of it before.

Leather Jacket
I should have really asked for this before Autumn as it is Autumn attire but I seriously want one so bad! I feel as if I will get so much use out of it and it will bring together a lot of my outfits which is why I want one so much! I'm hoping to find one that's not too expensive as I would feel really bad if a member of my family bought a jacket for £60 for me just for Christmas! If you have seen any stores that sell really nice leather jackets for less than £50 then please comment below for me!

Real Techniques Brushes
There are so many people on Youtube and who run a blog who use Real Techniques brushes. There are so many positive reviews on these brushes. The only down side is they can be very expensive, especially for someone my age who is still in school. I often have to find alternatives to the brushes and I have found good alternatives but there are some alternatives which aren't very good which is why I would love to have the originals.

Yankee Candles for the New Year
If you know me you will know that my love for candles gets stronger each day and there is nothing I love more than a change of seasons as it means a change of candles! I love to have a good range of scents as then they can match my mood and help me relax after a stressful school day.

Money in General

Finally is money/gift cards. We all know that getting money for Christmas can often be better than actual gifts of some members of your family. Instead of them getting what they  think you'll like, you can just go and spend the money how you would like to. I personally am going on a trip to London next year with my school and I would like to save up for it so my mum doesn't have to pay as much. As my birthday will be after the trip I am trying to think ahead and start saving now instead! I'm so excited! It is London after all! Gift cards are also a simple thing to ask for from more distant family for your favourite store e.g boots, h&m, starbucks, itunes.

I hope you enjoyed this post and it gave you some inspiration for Christmas!
What kind of presents would you like from your family this year?

Summer Outfit - OOTD

Hi Everyone!

Recently, I decided I would go into my garden and create an 'OOTD' post of one of my favourite summer outfits. It was a nice day where I live in the UK so I took this as the perfect opportunity to make this post.

It's super comfy and keeps you feeling cool in the summer heat which is why I love it so much! I hope you enjoy.

I love my kimono so much but it took me forever to find the right one for me. This particular one has a flowers and butterfly print with blue fringing at the bottom. It looks gorgeous and goes well with lots of my clothing.
Primark - £13

Underneath the kimono I am wearing a plain white vest top and a pair of dark denim high waisted shorts. I believe the vest top is from.
Peacocks - around £3

The shorts were from New Look's summer collection last year - around £15.
You can get similar shorts this year and there are a few pairs in Primark which are very similar.

Shoes are from Primark - £8.
They are a cushioned shoe with a lace pattern covering it and have a small bow on the front. I find this shoes comfortable after you've worn them a few times, however the first couple of times wearing them was quite uncomfortable but they're okay now.

My sunglasses are also from Primark's collection this year - £2.
They are a 5 sided shape and are fairly big (which I love). On the arms they have a dark brown leopard print and I love them so so so much!

Finally for my jewelry I have a pair of flower earrings from 'Claires' that I got quite a few years ago so I'm not sure about the price. They originally were black and white checked but the pattern has rubbed off over time.
My Celtic patterned ring is from a shop where I live called 'Pretty Twisted' but they have a website which sells most things they have in store. I'll put the link to the ring here and the link to the main website here as they have a lot of cute, amazing products to check out!
Ring - £3
On my left wrist I have a small silver bracelet with a small clear pink star which I got for Christmas one year but you cant't see on these pictures and a '5 Seconds of Summer' wrist band that I got at a concert - £3.
I will put the link here for the wrist band.

Unfortunately I couldn't find any links for the products but I hope the pictures helped!

Thank you for reading!

Travel Bag Esssentials

Hi Everyone!

Today's post is about my travel bag essentials! I'm going away to the beautiful country,Turkey for 4 weeks which means I will have to endure a 4 hour plane journey twice. For me personally, my on-flight bag is very essential and has to have enough activities for me to do and not get bored of.

Activities

Activities on any journey are important to ensure you don't get bored. I like to take a range of them to give me some variation. Here are some ideas:
- Ipod/MP3
- Wordsearches or other activity books
- Watch a DVD
- Read a Book
- Read a Magazine

Food and Drink

Food and Drink are obvious for a flight - especially long ones. I'm not sure about other places but in the UK you can't take liquids onto a plane, therefore you have to buy any drinks in the airport. I personally only like to take a massive bottle of plain water and 1 bottle of a fizzy drink. For food I love to take snacks such as Oreos and maybe a bag of sweets. If the flight is over a meal time maybe take a sandwich and crisps.

Cosmetics

Personally I don't take any makeup on a plane, however, others like to take the makeup with them and put it on during the flight. If I was going to take makeup on the plane I would only take:
- concealer
- powder
- mascara
- brow pencil
- lip gloss

I think it's up to you how you travel as some people prefer to go bare faced.
Moisturiser is a good idea to take on a plane as it will make sure you skin doesn't dry out and will keep you looking refreshed.

Other

There are of course other flight essentials which include:
- headphones
- sunglasses (on the way to the airport or to put on after arrival of the destination)
- money
- tablets (incase of sickness)
- maybe a pillow to try and get some rest

I hope you enjoyed this travel post and please feel free to share it!

Summer Essentials - Makeup

Hi Everyone!

This weeks post is about my Summer Beauty Essentials! This is slightly out of my comfort zone but I hope you enjoy these:

Beaches and Pools

Obviously if you're going to the beach or in a pool over summer you don't want to be
wearing makeup but if you really want to I only recommend:
- waterproof mascara to make your eyes stand out
- a tinted lip balm - such as baby lips

Personally I feel comfortable when I'm away to go without any makeup during the day as you only sweat it off!
If you're that uncomfortable just buy a cheap pair of over sized sunglasses to wear in the water and you will instantly feel much more secure.

Casual Summer Days - BBQ's, Summer Walks, Parties etc.

I would still recommend only minimal makeup as you will probably be sweating it off anyway! I would recommend
- a BB cream - most BB creams have SPF in it so it will protect your skin
-concealer - cover any blemishes
-powder - to stop you sweating as much
-bronzer (used for contouring)
-eyeliner - to make your eyes pop
-mascara - to also make your eyes stand out
-lip gloss or balm - to hydrate your lips

You can obviously add a little bit of eye shadow to make the look more formal and dramatic if you would like!

Also, if you aren't wearing any BB cream, I recommend using a moisturizer to hydrate your skin and make sure it is protected from the sun!

An obvious tip from me is make sure to wear sunscreen no matter where you are! Sunburn and sunstroke is not nice to have in the hot summer days.

In no way to I encourage you to wear any makeup this summer. I believe summer is the time when you get to be yourself and show your natural glow. If you wake up and feel 'I can go without makeup today' then please listen to yourself. You are making your skin worse by putting the makeup on so avoide it any time you can.

I hope you enjoyed this post and I'm thinking about doing a summer hair style post on Saturday night? Let me know what you think!
Thank you
I love you

Summer Style

Hi Everyone!

One thing I love about summer is the different patterns and styles that occur. It always ranges from floral to aztec and bright to pastel. I believe summer is everyone's chance to express their style!

I consider myself to be quite a girly person and I love my floral and pastels. Some of my staple buys for this summer are:

  • tank tops
  • cool dresses
  • shorts
  • kimono
  • skirts
  • flowy skort
  • playsuit
  • jumpsuit
  • sandals and flip flops
  • dress shoes
  • hat
  • bikini (if you are somewhere which requires them)
  • sunglasses
  • tote bag
If you are going to a beach I like to take various items to stop me getting bored and from getting burnt! Some of these items are:
  • sun cream/lotion (obviously)
  • towel
  • hat
  • sunglasses
  • beach/tote bag
  • beach cover-up
  • book
  • IPod (be careful it doesn't get lost or stolen)
  • parasol
  • snacks
  • lots of fresh water
  • beach ball
            etc.

Whichever way you are spending your summer whether it be abroad or just at home I hope you have a lovely time and I hope you enjoyed this post!
I love you

Summer Bucket List

Hi Everyone,

As we all know it is officially summer! It is one of my favourite times of year as I just relax and spend precious time with my friends and family. One thing that I've always wanted to do is make a list of things I want to do in my summer holiday. However I've never really had chance to complete one! This year is probably going to be the same as I'm going on holiday for most of my school holidays but I'm going to write one anyway. Here are some of my ideas for a good Summer Bucket List:

6. Have a water fight
7. Make a scrapbook
8. Make a time capsule
9. Play messy Twister
10. Have a movie marathon with your friends
11. Go somewhere new
12. Get a sun tattoo
13. Have a BBQ
14. Do something your not comfortable doing
15. Make a new friend
16. Spend time with your family
17. Read a book
18. Cook dinner for your family
19. Try a new food
20. Make this summer memorable
