Make Every Day Count

Today I want to cover a serious topic ahead of Christmas. If you saw my tweet last night you may understand why I am writing this.
Recently in the news, there has been so many tragedies where people's loved ones have been taken away from them right before Christmas (which I'm sure most of you have heard about). I can't begin to imagine how it must feel to have someone you love taken away from you at this time of year especially when it is about being with family and loving the people around you.

Yesterday in particular it hit me. Life is unpredictable. You never know what could happen tomorrow and yet we are still selfish and unappreciative of everything. It's not right! I hear people say how much they don't like their parents or a certain family member but why? Why don't you like them? They're still you're family no matter what. They rely on you to pick them up and help them learn through their journey through life. Some people don't have their loved ones to share precious moments with.

I know two people who will both be spending this Christmas without their mothers for the first time. I can't imagine what that must feel like for them. It's not fair. Life's not fair but we must appreciate what we have because tomorrow is another day and everything we know could be ripped from us. I would never wish something like that on anyone because I think this is one of the worst things that could ever happen to us.

I'm sorry to put such a downer on you just a couple of days before Christmas but I feel like this needed to be said. If you don't take anything else from this, please just remember to be grateful and show love to you're family this Christmas and just remember there are people who are struggling from loosing a lost one right this moment and keep those people in you're mind one day (touch wood that it isn't) it could be you.

If you are ever needing to talk to someone about a difficult time then please don't hesitate to tweet me asking for help, message me on Instagram or even leave a comment in this post. I'm always here for you all.

Thank you for reading.

Christmas Wish List 2014

It's almost Christmas!!! I need a moment. Christmas is most definitely my favourite time of year because it's a time for loving, sharing and appreciating those around you. I have been struggling so much to think of things to get this Christmas as I feel I don't need very much. However, there are a few bits and bobs which I would like very much so I decided I would make use of these items and share them with you!

Urban Decay - Naked Palette
I have wanted the Naked palette for probably a year now but I have bottled out of it each time because I hate to think I had spent that much on eye shadow when I didn't really wear it, but recently I have become more adventurous with make up so why not get it! There are so many amazing reviews about it and I'm sure all of you reading this will have heard of it before.

Leather Jacket
I should have really asked for this before Autumn as it is Autumn attire but I seriously want one so bad! I feel as if I will get so much use out of it and it will bring together a lot of my outfits which is why I want one so much! I'm hoping to find one that's not too expensive as I would feel really bad if a member of my family bought a jacket for £60 for me just for Christmas! If you have seen any stores that sell really nice leather jackets for less than £50 then please comment below for me!

Real Techniques Brushes
There are so many people on Youtube and who run a blog who use Real Techniques brushes. There are so many positive reviews on these brushes. The only down side is they can be very expensive, especially for someone my age who is still in school. I often have to find alternatives to the brushes and I have found good alternatives but there are some alternatives which aren't very good which is why I would love to have the originals.

Yankee Candles for the New Year
If you know me you will know that my love for candles gets stronger each day and there is nothing I love more than a change of seasons as it means a change of candles! I love to have a good range of scents as then they can match my mood and help me relax after a stressful school day.

Money in General

Finally is money/gift cards. We all know that getting money for Christmas can often be better than actual gifts of some members of your family. Instead of them getting what they  think you'll like, you can just go and spend the money how you would like to. I personally am going on a trip to London next year with my school and I would like to save up for it so my mum doesn't have to pay as much. As my birthday will be after the trip I am trying to think ahead and start saving now instead! I'm so excited! It is London after all! Gift cards are also a simple thing to ask for from more distant family for your favourite store e.g boots, h&m, starbucks, itunes.

I hope you enjoyed this post and it gave you some inspiration for Christmas!
What kind of presents would you like from your family this year?

October Favourites

Hi Everyone!

Today I will be sharing my October Favourites with you! There are so many things I have been loving this month but I have whittled it down to my top few for you.

Wake Me Up Concealer Ivory
My makeup favourite has been the Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer. I have had way too many late nights this month and this has been my morning savior. I don't really know how to describe this product except that it does its job well! This has always been a staple in my makeup bag and I think it always will be due to it's reliability.

Moisturiser of the month goes to Simple Oil Balancing Moisturiser. I have discovered this moisturiser on the quest to reduce my oily skin. After only a couple of days, the oil had noticeably reduced. I have found it doesn't stop all the oiliness of my skin but it didn't cost much and has also reduced the amount of spots I get! Simple is a brand that is also good for people with sensitive skin and make sure their products won't make your skin break out so I recommend this to all of you, even those with sensitive skin.

Highslide JS
I have had my Tangle Teezer for a while now but I have loved it more than usual this month as my hair has been especially out of control! I own the Compact Styler in Pink. It is so much easier than a normal hair brush and it doesn't pull at your hair whilst trying to get out those mischievous knots. I bought this from Duty Free when going on holiday last year and I can honestly say it was a life saver after being in the pool all day and having the task of brushing your hair after long pool or beach days. I would recommend this 110%. There are various styles of the Tangle Teezer such as Aqua or even the Original, just choose depending on which suites you!

Next up is Soap and Glory - Rich and Foamous Shower Gel. I absolutely love this product! The mix of Almond, Oats and Brown Sugar lasts on your skin for hours and makes your skin feel soft and smooth. It comes in a massive bottle which I have found lasts ages! I don't know how to describe how much I love this product but I'm so glad I bought it.

My favourite store this month has been Lush. Lush has always been one of my favourite stores, however I hadn't been there in a while until the beginning of the month. Since then I have been in around 10 times this month! Addicted doesn't cover it! The various smells from the entrance of the shop just draw me in and the explosion of colour is just as inviting. The lack of animal testing is another positive for an animal lover like me and the variation of scents and products add to it! You can always be guaranteed a surprise when using one of the products and I find that they all smell delicious and complete a relaxing bath! Am I the only one who feels like that?

My music favourite this month has been Taylor Swift. I have loved going on Spotify and listening to all her old songs: Love Story, You Belong With Me, Mine, White Horse etc. They are a great way to relax and even good songs to listen to while doing homework. In fact I'm listening to them while writing this! I have always loved her older music and she never fails to disappoint.

My Owl Candle from Primark has been a favourite this month. It is a small grey hand painted owl with a sweet vanilla scent. I have had this candle for months now but have never brought myself to start burning it until now! It isn't a seasonal scent which is why I am taking my time to burn it. The scent isn't too strong but isn't that weak that you can't smell it that much; it's the perfect balance. I don't know what I'm going to do when it finishes! I love it too much to throw away! My slight obsession with owls is too strong.

I hope you've enjoyed my first favourites post!

Halloween - Last Minute Costumes

Hi Everyone!

As we all know, one of my favourite times of year is on Friday! I love the Halloween festivities but sometimes planning the perfect costume can be so difficult that you end up with nothing to wear days before (me right now). So for all us last minute people I decided to make a post about last minute costumes. I have linked the items that I have found to their website if there was a specific one.

Devil

A devil costume is easy enough! All you need is a truck load of red!
- Bright Red Lips and Red Eye shadow and Thick Black Liner
- Red Nails

Cat

Cat costumes are more about the accessories and makeup than the actual outfit.

I would recommend:
- Long fake nails
- Black cat eye makeup and red lips (Credit to Niomi Smart for Pictures)
- Whiskers! (Credit to Niomi Smart)

Witch

A witch is one of the easiest costumes as you can put on basically any dark colour you own and focus on the makeup again

I would use:
- Spider Hair Pins or a Witch Hat
- Black Lips
- Dots of Eyeliner to make Warts etc.
- Broom Stick
- Back Combed Hair

Pumpkin

This one could be slightly trickier but will be worth it!
- Orange Nails
- Makeup (optional)

Ghost

One of the most blank but effect costumes.
- Ghost Tights (optional)
- Black eye makeup and white base and lips
- White hair bow
- White ribbon tied to arms and wrapped into plaits

I hope you enjoyed these last minute ideas and that they've helped some of you with your costumes. This post was very different to my usual posts. Let me know if you like outfit ideas and would like seasonal ones!
What are you going as this Halloween?

Lush Review - Shoot for the Stars Bath Bomb

 Hi Everyone!

A couple of nights ago, I used the 'Lush Shoot for the Stars Bath Bomb'. This was the first time I had ever used it and I have instantly fell in love with it.

It starts with turning the bath a dark blue, then after around a minute a pink, yellow and purple start to add to the blue making it become an explosion of colour.

Then there is a wonderful surprise for you in the centre of the bath bomb. However, I'm not going to tell you as it would spoil the excitement. I don't know how to describe the scent but it matches the beauty of the product itself.

All I have to say is make sure to add this to your shopping list next time you're in a Lush store!
If you've used this bath bomb before, what did you think?

My Night Skin Care Routine!

Hi Everyone!

As we know, Winter is weeks away! Even though it is one of the most wonderful and beautiful times of year it can do a lot of damage to our skin. I have a set skin care routine for all year round too keep my skin looking fresh and hydrated!

After snuggling into my pajamas and tying my hair back I wash my face with 'Clean & Clear Exfoliating Daily Wash'. My skin is very acne prone due to it being slightly oily. However, this face wash works as it is oil free and I find it unblocks pores well. I use this to remove the makeup and make my skin feel fresh and treated.

Secondly, I use 'Witch Hazel'. This is a herbal liquid that is used to clear up break outs and acts as a second cleanse for the skin to make sure it is 100% makeup or dirt free! I buy this from my local chemist/drugstore or you can buy it from retailers such as Boots. Apply it with a cotton wool pad, onto red or acne prone areas and leave to dry into your skin. Don't be afraid to be generous!

Finally, I use a 'Olay Essentials Complete Care Night Cream' Moisturizer. This product is supposed to care for normal, dry and oily skin. I love using this moisturizer as your skin can feel slightly tight after using the 'Witch Hazel' and it makes my skin relax and feel soft and hydrated.

As you can see all of these products are cheap and all high street brands.
What's your favourite product of your night skin care routine?

Liebster Award Nomination!

Hi Everyone!

I was nominated by the lovely Victoria Jane to do the Liebster Award Nomination! I've never really heard of this before but by reading into this a little it seems like a great way for small blogs like mine to widen their audience.

The rules are:

  • Answer the questions sent to you
  • Nominate 11 bloggers who have under 200 followers on twitter
  • Ask them 12 questions of your own
  • Notify them that they've been nominated
Here are the questions Victoria asked me!

Who is your favourite blogger and why?
Okay, I'm sorry everyone but I'm going very typical here, I love reading Zoella's and Niomi Smart's blogs because they're always full of inspiration.

What is your favourite make up brand?
I only really buy high street make up due to such a small budget but my favourite high street brand is Maybelline but if I love the look of Urban Decay and Benifit make up.

Are there any bad fashion trends you followed when you were younger?
It wasn't so much of a trend but I went through a stage of wearing headbands daily and I regret it so much now!

Why did you start blogging?
I wanted something to do when I was bored on a weekend and to discover new opportunities! My friend, Sophie started hers a couple of months before mine and she seemed to have so much fun so I thought I'd join!

What is your top make up tip?
To open your eyes more, curl your eyelashes daily!

What is your favourite season? Why?
I have so many reasons as to why I love each season! I think my top 2 are Summer and Autumn because Summer is so warm and you can do so many activities but Autumn is cosy and a beautiful time of year.

What is your favourite quote? Why?
'Rise above the storm and you will find the sunshine' - Mario Fernandez. I love this quote because it proves that there is always a way out and that you should never give up.

Favourite high street store?
Either H&M or New Look.

Who is your biggest style influence?
My older cousin, Jess is a massive style influence to me but if it was someone famous then probably Perrie Edwards, especially when she was younger or Bethany Mota.

What beauty product can you not live without?
My concealer, brow pencil and mascara.

Who are your favourite youtubers?
There's so many! If I had to choose a few it would be: Bethany Mota, Zoella, Meghan Rosette, Caspar Lee and Thatcher Joe.

I am going to nominate:

Here are my questions for you!

1. Who is your biggest inspiration in life?
2. What is your favourite item of clothing?
3. What's your favourite perfume?
4. Who inspired your blog?
5. Do you have a favourite Disney film?
6. Favourite brand?

8. What's been the biggest plus factor of starting your blog?
9. Do you have any hobbies other than blogging?
10. What was your first ever item of makeup
11. Do you read any other blogs and if so who is your favourite?

I can't wait to see your responses and hopefully get to know you all at some point :)

You're Never Fully Dressed Without A Smile

Hi Everyone!

October is finally upon us! One less month until Christmas *screams excitedly*. However, today I didn't want to talk about festivities, I want to address a subject that effects us all, life. I have wanted to talk about this for a while now but I've never really had the right words to say but I saw Zoella and Sprinkle Of Glitter's video about sadness (link here)  and it's given me the inspiration I needed to write this post.

Life can be extremely difficult, especially if you are facing a new challenge e.g. a new school, a new family member, difficulty in friendships or at home. Sometimes, these challenges can get us down and feel like there is no way out. However, there is always light at the end of the tunnel, no matter what you think and how bad the situation may seem.

Personally I go through times where I don't feel myself but I don't seem to know the source of my problem. Most of the time, situations of sadness can be solved easily, but sometimes it can lead to things such as depression or anxiety, therefore if the feeling of sadness continues over a long period of time or repeats regularly you must talk to a parent, carer, teacher, therapist etc. and I can't stress this enough. It is better to talk things out that keep it all to yourself. Even if you're not ready to talk to anyone about your problems face to face you could make a list of what is making you unhappy and what makes you happy.

If you are going through a difficult time right now, I promise you it gets better and that there is away out of this unhappy part of your life. Don't forget that if you ever need help or anyone to talk to feel free to contact me somehow (link to contact page here), I'm always here.
Stay strong.
I love you

Would You Rather? - Beauty Edition

Hi Everyone!

Unfortunately I didn't have a beauty or fashion post prepared this week but I didn't want to not post at all this week so I thought I would do a little beauty 'would you rather'. I'm not sure if there is set questions for this tag, but I just Googled this tag and I have done the first set of questions which came to Hope you enjoy!

1.) Would you rather lose all of your mascaras, eyeliners, lipsticks, and lipglosses or lose all of your palettes and eyeshadows?
I personally couldn't live without my mascaras and lip products so I would much rather loose EVERY palette made than all my mascaras and lip products!

2.) Would you rather chop off all your hair or never be able to cut it again?
I couldn't live without having long-ish hair and I would cry for weeks if I had to cut it all off so I would rather never cut it again and I'd just have to care for it really well!

3.) Would you rather have a coral cheek or a pink cheek?
I think I would rather have a pink cheek as coral is very spring/summery and pink can be used all year round

4.) If you had $1000 to spend, would you rather buy clothes or makeup?
If I had that much money I would spend it on clothes as I feel clothes is more of a necessity than makeup and the clothes will probably last you longer, especially if you get clothes which can work for almost every season.

5.) Would you rather apply lipstick as eyeliner, or eyeliner as lipstick?
Eyeliner as lipstick would be preferable purely because I don't really want to have to put lipstick around my eyes. Plus, you could always add a gloss over the top of the eyeliner so it doesn't look too bad!

6.) Would you rather only shop at MAC or Sephora?
Sephora as even though we don't have it here in the UK (I think) I've heard it has a lot of brands there so I would have more of a range to choose from

7.) Would you rather only use one eyeshadow colour or one lip colour for the rest of your life?
I would like to have a variety of eyeshadows as it can totally change the way your eyes stand out and what suits that particular outfit. Plus, you could just stick to quite a natural lip which will suit a range of outfits and just make your eyes stand out more!

8.) Would you rather wear winter clothes in summer or summer clothes in winter?
I feel that I would rather just wear winter clothes in summer and put as little layers on as possible. Also, it's never really very hot here in the UK so it would work perfectly!

9.) Would you rather have dark nails or bright nails all year round?
This is very difficult for me as I love my nail polish! I think I would rather have darker polish as wearing bright colours in winter doesn't really work for me.

10.) Would you rather give up your favourite lip product or your favourite eye product?
Lip product definitely. I love my eye products too much and my favourite would be my mascara so I can't give that up. Mascara is such a staple product for me as I think it makes me look more awake and I love it.

11.) Would you rather only be able to wear your hair in a ponytail or a messy bun?
I quite like both styles so I'm not too sure... Ponytail maybe?

12.) Would your rather never be able to paint your nails again or never use lipgloss?
Never wear lipgloss. Despite my love for gloss I love my nails too much.

13.) Would you rather shave your eyebrows and have none at all or sharpie them in everyday?
I really don't know! I think using sharpie on your brows is way too risky! I used to look like I had no eyebrows until recently due to them being so blond so I suppose if I shaved them off no one would notice and they'd grow back eventually right?

14.) Would you rather live without makeup or nail polish?
Okay, so even though I said I love my nail varnish I would rather live without that than my makeup - mascara and concealer especially! Therefore, I think I would rather live without nail polish.

I hope you liked this post as it's a little more fun!!
Thank you for reading!

My 5 Fragrances

Hi Everyone!

As promised here is my collection of fragrances which I hope you enjoy. They vary in price range and I have listed the prices from 'The Perfume Shop' for you in bold!

My first perfume is 'Ghost - Whisper'. I got this a couple of years ago on a plane. I use this perfume as a daily scent as it smells quite sweet. The bottle is a pretty transparent to opaque ombre effect which I believe suits the name perfectly. I'm not sure if they still do the original 'Whisper' but you can buy 'Whisper Blush' here .
Around £25

The second perfume is 'Charlie - Red' perfume by 'Revlon'. This scent is another that I use daily and as you can see it is almost empty. It is quite a strong, floral fragrance but it lasts a long time and smells amazing - especially for such a cheap product. I know the price may put you off it as cheap perfumes tend to not smell very nice but I definitely recommend this especially after Gym/ PE class! I absolutely love the 'Charlie - Red' fragrances and they are a definite staple fragrance for me. If you have used the 'Revlon Charlie' body sprays before I know you'll love this. The bottle isn't much to look at but I promise it smells nice. You'd be silly to miss out on this bargain! You can find it here .
£4.99!!!

Thirdly is 'One Direction - Our Moment'. As a One Direction fan I grabbed this perfume as soon as it was released last year but I have been back and had to buy a second bottle as I genuinely love this fragrance! This is a mix of a fruity and floral scent and even if you despise One Direction once you smell this product you will love it! I use this fragrance for various occasions and it lasts through out the day. There are various sizes which is perfect for if you want to slip it into your bag. With a gorgeous pink bottle it looks amazing sitting on your dresser too! You can find it here .
30ml - £19.99

My fourth fragrance is 'Victoria's Secret - Tease'. I have only just got this perfume from the airport on my way back from Turkey but I instantly fell in love with this when I first smelt it in the shop. This is a more warm and mature scent which is quite different to the other perfume's so far. I will probably only wear this perfume for special occasions and outings as I will try to savor. The black bottle has an actual squeeze pump instead of a built in pump. I can't wait to wear this! You can find this here .
Around £30

The final perfume is 'Marc Jacobs - Daisy'. I recently got this as a birthday present off my Auntie and I love it! This is obviously a very floral scent and I love it! This was released a while ago but it's signature cluster of daisies on the top make it look beautiful when placed on your dresser! Again, it is quite pricey which means I will only wear this one for special occasions and outings. You can find it here .
50ml - £51.50

I hope you enjoyed looking at my fragrance collection!

My Beauty Favourites - Makeup Products

Hi Everyone!

I just got back from my 4 week long holiday to Turkey! It was amazing and I got to see people who I've known for years but only get to see when I go out there. It's too cold in England! Please take me back!

Anyway, enough of my holiday blues, today's post is about my beauty favourites! All of these products I took away with me and they are all High Street so are fairly cheap to pick up.

Base

The first product is my 'Rimmel - Wake Me Up Concealer' in 'Ivory'. This has been a great way to cover up some redness that I've caught from being out in the sun and works extremely well on any blemishes.

Then we have my 'Rimmel - Stay Matte Powder' in 'Silky Beige'. This has been great for helping the shine on my face at bay. It also has been contributing to helping my concealer in place which is a strong factor of this product.
The final base product is my 'Avon - Bronzing Powder' in 'Light Bronze'. As you can see this product has been used a lot and helps to define my cheek bones or boost my summer tan. I love this bronzer and I will definitely be investing in more.

Eyes

I love my eye shadows and mascaras as they make me look more awake and more confident.
The first of this collection is my 'Clinique - Colour Surge Eye Duo' in 'Strawberry Fudge'. This is just a small tester sample of the product but I love this duo as it compliments my skin tone and blends well. There is a small blush product across the top but I tend not to use the blush and often use it as an eye shadow with the other two powders.

My eyeliner is 'Maybelline - Gentle Precision Eyeliner' in 'Black - 33'. I have only recently started using pencil eyeliner and I love this already. It glides on very easily and as someone who is using an eyeliner for the first time I love it!

My mascara is the 'Seventeen -' in ' '. This mascara has been making my lashes look thicker and longer. When I was younger I used to pull out my eyelashes and I still have small gaps in places where they still haven't fully grown back. However, this mascara has been covering those spaces and making my eyelashes look fuller! I have been pairing this with another mascara which I found in my draw. Unfortunately the brand has rubbed off so I can't tell you who it's by, but the two mascaras work extremely well together.

Brows

I use this 'Technique Brows Kit' that I got in a magazine. I tend to use the medium and dark colours as I have blond/ brown hair. It is simple to apply and I love it so much more than using my brow pencil! There is always an even shape and shade when I use this so this is a staple!

Lips

I love my 'Maybelline - Baby Lips' and have them in 4 different shades/ types. These have been perfect for keeping my lips hydrated in the heat and the tinted ones are perfect for slipping into your bag when you're going out for a meal as the add a small dash of colour to your lips.

Then we have my 'Collection - Little Mix Lipstick' in 'Jade'. I love this colour as it looks so natural and adds a more prominent pink to your lips.

The final lip product goes perfectly with the 'Jade' lipstick if you only add a little bit and it is 'Tanya Burr - Afternoon Tea Lipgloss'. This product doesn't only look nice but also smells divine! It looks gorgeous with or without a lipstick underneath but if you do wear a lipstick underneath I recommend a dark pink colour.

I will be posting about my favourite fragrances at some point next week but this is it for now!
Make sure to share on Google+ and subscribe for e-mails of when I update!

Summer Outfit - OOTD

Hi Everyone!

Recently, I decided I would go into my garden and create an 'OOTD' post of one of my favourite summer outfits. It was a nice day where I live in the UK so I took this as the perfect opportunity to make this post.

It's super comfy and keeps you feeling cool in the summer heat which is why I love it so much! I hope you enjoy.

I love my kimono so much but it took me forever to find the right one for me. This particular one has a flowers and butterfly print with blue fringing at the bottom. It looks gorgeous and goes well with lots of my clothing.
Primark - £13

Underneath the kimono I am wearing a plain white vest top and a pair of dark denim high waisted shorts. I believe the vest top is from.
Peacocks - around £3

The shorts were from New Look's summer collection last year - around £15.
You can get similar shorts this year and there are a few pairs in Primark which are very similar.

Shoes are from Primark - £8.
They are a cushioned shoe with a lace pattern covering it and have a small bow on the front. I find this shoes comfortable after you've worn them a few times, however the first couple of times wearing them was quite uncomfortable but they're okay now.

My sunglasses are also from Primark's collection this year - £2.
They are a 5 sided shape and are fairly big (which I love). On the arms they have a dark brown leopard print and I love them so so so much!

Finally for my jewelry I have a pair of flower earrings from 'Claires' that I got quite a few years ago so I'm not sure about the price. They originally were black and white checked but the pattern has rubbed off over time.
My Celtic patterned ring is from a shop where I live called 'Pretty Twisted' but they have a website which sells most things they have in store. I'll put the link to the ring here and the link to the main website here as they have a lot of cute, amazing products to check out!
Ring - £3
On my left wrist I have a small silver bracelet with a small clear pink star which I got for Christmas one year but you cant't see on these pictures and a '5 Seconds of Summer' wrist band that I got at a concert - £3.
I will put the link here for the wrist band.

Unfortunately I couldn't find any links for the products but I hope the pictures helped!

Travel Bag Esssentials

Hi Everyone!

Today's post is about my travel bag essentials! I'm going away to the beautiful country,Turkey for 4 weeks which means I will have to endure a 4 hour plane journey twice. For me personally, my on-flight bag is very essential and has to have enough activities for me to do and not get bored of.

Activities

Activities on any journey are important to ensure you don't get bored. I like to take a range of them to give me some variation. Here are some ideas:
- Ipod/MP3
- Wordsearches or other activity books
- Watch a DVD
- Read a Book
- Read a Magazine

Food and Drink

Food and Drink are obvious for a flight - especially long ones. I'm not sure about other places but in the UK you can't take liquids onto a plane, therefore you have to buy any drinks in the airport. I personally only like to take a massive bottle of plain water and 1 bottle of a fizzy drink. For food I love to take snacks such as Oreos and maybe a bag of sweets. If the flight is over a meal time maybe take a sandwich and crisps.

Cosmetics

Personally I don't take any makeup on a plane, however, others like to take the makeup with them and put it on during the flight. If I was going to take makeup on the plane I would only take:
- concealer
- powder
- mascara
- brow pencil
- lip gloss

I think it's up to you how you travel as some people prefer to go bare faced.
Moisturiser is a good idea to take on a plane as it will make sure you skin doesn't dry out and will keep you looking refreshed.

Other

There are of course other flight essentials which include:
- headphones
- sunglasses (on the way to the airport or to put on after arrival of the destination)
- money
- tablets (incase of sickness)
- maybe a pillow to try and get some rest

I hope you enjoyed this travel post and please feel free to share it!
Thank you for reading!

Summer Essentials - Makeup

Hi Everyone!

This weeks post is about my Summer Beauty Essentials! This is slightly out of my comfort zone but I hope you enjoy these:

Beaches and Pools

Obviously if you're going to the beach or in a pool over summer you don't want to be
wearing makeup but if you really want to I only recommend:
- waterproof mascara to make your eyes stand out
- a tinted lip balm - such as baby lips

Personally I feel comfortable when I'm away to go without any makeup during the day as you only sweat it off!
If you're that uncomfortable just buy a cheap pair of over sized sunglasses to wear in the water and you will instantly feel much more secure.

Casual Summer Days - BBQ's, Summer Walks, Parties etc.

I would still recommend only minimal makeup as you will probably be sweating it off anyway! I would recommend
- a BB cream - most BB creams have SPF in it so it will protect your skin
-concealer - cover any blemishes
-powder - to stop you sweating as much
-bronzer (used for contouring)
-eyeliner - to make your eyes pop
-mascara - to also make your eyes stand out
-lip gloss or balm - to hydrate your lips

You can obviously add a little bit of eye shadow to make the look more formal and dramatic if you would like!

Also, if you aren't wearing any BB cream, I recommend using a moisturizer to hydrate your skin and make sure it is protected from the sun!

An obvious tip from me is make sure to wear sunscreen no matter where you are! Sunburn and sunstroke is not nice to have in the hot summer days.

In no way to I encourage you to wear any makeup this summer. I believe summer is the time when you get to be yourself and show your natural glow. If you wake up and feel 'I can go without makeup today' then please listen to yourself. You are making your skin worse by putting the makeup on so avoide it any time you can.

I hope you enjoyed this post and I'm thinking about doing a summer hair style post on Saturday night? Let me know what you think!
Thank you
I love you

Summer Style

Hi Everyone!

One thing I love about summer is the different patterns and styles that occur. It always ranges from floral to aztec and bright to pastel. I believe summer is everyone's chance to express their style!

I consider myself to be quite a girly person and I love my floral and pastels. Some of my staple buys for this summer are:

  • tank tops
  • cool dresses
  • shorts
  • kimono
  • skirts
  • flowy skort
  • playsuit
  • jumpsuit
  • sandals and flip flops
  • dress shoes
  • hat
  • bikini (if you are somewhere which requires them)
  • sunglasses
  • tote bag
If you are going to a beach I like to take various items to stop me getting bored and from getting burnt! Some of these items are:
  • sun cream/lotion (obviously)
  • towel
  • hat
  • sunglasses
  • beach/tote bag
  • beach cover-up
  • book
  • IPod (be careful it doesn't get lost or stolen)
  • parasol
  • snacks
  • lots of fresh water
  • beach ball
            etc.

Whichever way you are spending your summer whether it be abroad or just at home I hope you have a lovely time and I hope you enjoyed this post!
I love you

Summer Bucket List

Hi Everyone,

As we all know it is officially summer! It is one of my favourite times of year as I just relax and spend precious time with my friends and family. One thing that I've always wanted to do is make a list of things I want to do in my summer holiday. However I've never really had chance to complete one! This year is probably going to be the same as I'm going on holiday for most of my school holidays but I'm going to write one anyway. Here are some of my ideas for a good Summer Bucket List:

1. Go to a water park/theme park
2. Go for a walk not knowing where you're going
3. Go for a day at the beach
4. Create your own smoothie
5. Write a song
6. Have a water fight
7. Make a scrapbook
8. Make a time capsule
9. Play messy Twister
10. Have a movie marathon with your friends
11. Go somewhere new
12. Get a sun tattoo
13. Have a BBQ
14. Do something your not comfortable doing
15. Make a new friend
16. Spend time with your family
17. Read a book
18. Cook dinner for your family
19. Try a new food
20. Make this summer memorable

These are just a few ideas of things to do this summer!
Thank you for reading

TMI Tag

Hi Everyone.
